Propylene Glycol (PG) is a non-toxic substance that is entirely safe for consumption and gives e-liquids their flavour. Vape Liquid Tax 2026
On October 1st 2026 a new vape tax of £2.20 per 10ml of e-liquid(vape juice) will begin to take effect. This rate applies to all e-liquids, regardless of nicotine content. Suppliers will be expected to attach stamps to all e-liquid to indicate the vape tax has been paid.
The new tax forms part of the government's plan to tackle youth vaping, at the same time keeping vaping more affordable than smoking.
