Choosing quality products is far better in the long run for three primary reasons: cheap, fake products are going to need to be replaced more often, will not perform as efficiently, and may not be as safe (especially fake/ non TPD compliant products on the black market. 

The quality of your products affects these three main things because:

• Performance: Higher quality products perform better, delivering consistent flavour, vapour density, and control options like airflow and temperature. These controls may only work intermittently for poor quality products.

• Safety: Non- reputable products may pose safety risks, as the ingredients in e-liquids may not be as strictly monitored as high quality TPD compliant products. Fake vapes can cause serious health risks like heavy metal poisoning, nicotine poisoning, and respiratory failure. 

• Frequency of replacements: Poor quality vape products will need to be replaced far more often as they have faults a lot more frequently. Over time this means you end up spending more money replacing a bad quality vape than if you just bought a high quality one from a reputable company in the first place.

There are a number of simple ways to tell how reputable a vape product is:

• Vape company: Go for established companies selling a range of different well-known vape brands (like us!). Avoid small off licenses as they often make the news for selling unregulated, fake vape products.
  
• Brand: Opt for famous brands like Lost Mary, SKE Crystal and Vampire Vape. However, keep in mind that fake vapes try and emulate these products so don't rely on brand name alone.

• Packaging: Reputable companies will not have any mistakes or typos in their packaging.
  
• Nicotine Content: The legal limit for nicotine is 20mg, any e-liquids that exceed this cannot be legally sold in the UK.
