E-liquid flavour concentrates are very strong flavourings, meant to be added when creating your own unique DIY e-liquid. These flavourings do not contain any nicotine, as this is added separately in a nicotine shot. You should never vape a nicotine flavour concentrate straight as they are extremely strong so will not taste pleasant on their own, will produce a very harsh throat hit and may damage your coil.

Creating DIY e-liquid using flavour concentrates is easier than it first appears. If you are in any doubt, simply refer to our handy step-by-step guide:

Step 1. Decide what flavour e-liquid you want to make.

Check out online forums for recipes and choose one that appeals. We recommend starting out using recipes before branching out and creating your own unique blends.

Step 2. Calculate your correct ratios.

Many recipes come complete with the exact ratios of each ingredient you need to add but in the event they don`t, you can use online e-liquid calculators to work it out.

Step 3. Clean your preparation area.

Make sure you find a clean, well ventilated place to mix your e-liquids. We recommend using a kitchen counter.

Step 4. Mix your ingredients.

When mixing your ingredients, make sure to add the nicotine first to ensure it is fully diluted by the other ingredients. Next, add your vegetable glycerin and propylene glycol. Finally, add your flavour concentrate(s) and mix all your ingredients together.

Step 5. Shake and steep your e-liquid.

Screw the cap of your e-liquid bottle on tightly and shake well to ensure all of the ingredients are fully blended together. After this you should steep your e-liquid, leaving it to sit in a cool dark place for a few days or weeks depending on the flavour profile and VG content. If you want your e-liquid to steep faster you can use the warm bath method to have it ready in just 20 minutes. This is an important step as it allows the ingredients to chemically bond and lets the flavours mature.
