Ecigwizard Celebrates Its 10th Birthday

2021 is a big year for Ecigwizard as it marks our 10th birthday, and we want to celebrate in style. Although we'd love to organise a massive party and invite all of you, we can't do that at the moment, so what better way to celebrate than to reminisce on all the good times and give ourselves a well-earned pat on the back.

We must admit, though, this isn't all about us. Our 10th birthday celebration is also a pat on the back to every vaper in the UK who's decided to kick the habit, wherever you are in your journey. Without you, none of this could be possible. 

So, where did it all start?

Ever since our very first day, it has been our aim to spearhead the vaping movement and help all of you live a smoke-free future. We started Ecigwizard with a handful of e-cigarettes and e-liquids and introduced them to a world that wasn't quite ready to accept vaping yet.

We didn't know it at the time, but it was a true pioneering moment. With the term 'vaping' just about starting to make its appearance, we had a tremendously difficult task of creating awareness and trust in our products.

However, even in our earliest days, we were lucky enough to be able to rely on the support of a cluster of loyal customers (some of which are still with us to this day) who truly understood the lifelong benefits of vaping.

Fast forward ten years, and we are now one of the leading e-cigarette retailers in the UK and have helped over four million smokers ditch cigarettes and lead a healthier lifestyle.

In addition, vaping is now recognised by Public Health England, Cancer Research UK, and a host of public health bodies as being 95% safer than smoking and the number one stop smoking tool used in the UK. Not bad, right? 

What has happened on this fantastic 10-year journey?

Well, it's been a tremendous journey with a load of ups, downs and changes along the way. Our logo has seen more than its fair share of makeovers along the road, and if we are perfectly honest, we love them all. 

Leading the way to a smoke-free future!

In 2019, we became the proud owners of the very first vape shops in NHS Hospitals. Our two stores in Birmingham's Sandwell and City hospitals made national news when they opened, marking another giant leap for vaping in the UK. We even got a feature in the New York Times! 

Along with our two NHS hospital stores, we also have over 40 high-street stores packed with brilliant products and even better staff. We have always taken pride in providing the best customer service, and that is a promise that has stuck with us throughout our ten years. So the next time you pop into one of our stores, you can rest assured that you're in safe and knowledgeable hands. 

Our online store has come a long way since its inception in 2011 and now has a huge presence across a number of platforms. With over 14,000 positive Trustpilot reviews, an expansive range of products for all kinds of vapers and 24/7 customer service facilities (the only vape retailer to offer this), we continue to lead the way in all departments. We have also expanded on to both eBay and Amazon, with an ever-popular store that has a 99.7% positive feedback rating from over 40,000 reviews. We also have a fantastic wholesale department that completes the team, ensuring that our brilliant products are available across multiple retailers. 

Our Warehouse and Laboratory

We didn’t just leave it there! Our headquarters has gone from a simple office to being the home to an incredible warehouse and a state-of-the-art laboratory equipped with UKAS certified equipment. From the lab and our ISO Class 8 Cleanroom, our expert team of experienced mixologists have developed and manufactured some of our most popular e-liquid ranges, including WizMix and Forbidden Island. 

As passionate as we are about producing e-liquid, we also created our own e-cigarette, resulting in great success. We are the proud owners and manufacturers of the brilliant ICON Vape Starter Device. We always have new vapers in mind, and it was important to us to leave our mark on the industry by designing and manufacturing a brilliant device to help you quit smoking.
